What we ask

• Speak the truth in love.Disagreement is welcome; contempt isn’t. Argue the point, not the person.
• Assume good faith.Read others’ comments the way you’d want your own read.
• No personal attacks.Insults, harassment, and name-calling aren’t discussion — they’re noise, and we remove them.
• Stay on topic, and keep it something you’d be comfortable saying after a service, not before one.

How moderation actually works here

Every comment is held for review before it’s shown to anyone but its author. An editor reads it against this covenant and either approves it — after which it’s visible to everyone — or rejects it. We’re not moderating for disagreement or theological difference; we’re moderating for tone and conduct.

This isn’t automated keyword filtering. A real person reads pending comments before they go live, which means approval isn’t instant — please be patient.

If your comment is rejected

If you think a comment was rejected in error, you’re welcome to write to us and ask why — we’re glad to explain a decision, even if we don’t reverse it. Repeated violations may lead to a suspended account rather than just a removed comment; see our Terms of Service for how that works.
