This is what The Global Berean’s editorial team holds as core, historic Christian conviction — the ground we write from. It is deliberately broad rather than denominational: our reporting covers Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, and every other tradition within the global church, and this statement describes what unites us with all of them, not a checklist for who receives fair coverage.

What we affirm

• Scripture. The Bible is the inspired, authoritative word of God — the standard the Bereans themselves tested every teaching against, ours included.
• God. One God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• Christ. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead, and will return.
• Salvation. Reconciliation with God comes by grace, through faith in Christ — not by human effort or merit.
• The Church. One body across every nation, tribe, people, and tongue (Revelation 7:9) — which is precisely the reality our coverage of the global church tries to reflect.
• The Great Commission. The call to make disciples of all nations remains active, and much of our reporting follows where that call is being lived out today.

What this statement is not

It isn’t a stance on baptism, church government, spiritual gifts, or end-times views — historic Christians have disagreed on those in good faith for centuries, and a news organization covering the whole global church has no business picking a side. Where our reporting touches those disagreements, we aim to represent each position accurately and let readers weigh it, rather than adjudicate it for them.
